Lee comes to the Foundation from Mayo Clinic where she was the executive editor of Mayo Clinic Magazine and a senior Communications Consultant in the Department of Development and Public Affairs. She also served as a Senior Communications Consultant at Alberta Children's Hospital before pulling up stakes and heading to the west coast. Lee's background includes teaching at the university level and curricula development, as well as e-learning consultation and program development. She was a beta tester for Adobe during the launch of its digital publishing product line and and has maintained an interest in graphic design and digital communications.
In addition to her professional experience, Lee holds graduate degrees in English with concentrations in cognition, psychology, language and new media. Her research interests lay in cognitive science, perception and complex system dynamics, areas of study that influence her work in strategic communications to this day.
