Thank you for making our Gala a huge success, and helping us raise over $250,000 for improvements to Burnaby Hospital!
On Friday, November 18, 2016, we brought a taste of Havana to Burnaby for our annual Gala which always brings together donors, sponsors, community leaders and hospital supporters who are dedicated to quality health care for our families, friends and neighbours throughout Burnaby and East Vancouver.
In Any Event Design, AV Strategies and Greenscape Design, all under direction of Pat Rekert, transformed the Grand Villa Ballroom at the Delta Burnaby Hotel into a glamorous tropical getaway. Todd Talbot, our emcee for the night, set the tone with his infectious energy and ability to engage the audience in the evening's activities.
Get ready to join us in 2017 as we host The Emperor's Ball and pay homage to the beauty, cultural richness and unparalleled history of China. Join us and #SupportBHFGala2017!
Over 250 people came out to enjoy the sunshine and delectable offerings at Small Plates on the Lake on August 25th. The event featured small plates from EBO restaurant, Hart House Restaurant, Reflect Social Dining Lounge, Trattoria and Riverway Golf Course while overlooking picturesque Deer Lake.
Each November, Burnaby Hospital Foundation hosts its signature fundraising event. Every year, the Foundation's gala presents a "passport" to another global destination and another wonderful evening with friends and colleagues. In 2014, it was Paris; in November 2015, guests found themselves in a New York state of mind amid the cosmopolitan buzz of the Big Apple. Some 300 gala attendees came together for an unprecedented evening of support for their community hospital. Emcee Red Robinson was in top form as he entertained the audience and let all though the evening's activities, including presentations, raffles, auctions and, later, dancing the night away.
On November 14, 2014 Burnaby Hospital Foundation presented its annual fundraising gala.
Guests at the Soirée À Paris enjoyed French-inspired food, music and entertainment as well as live and silent auction events. The Foundation’s “party of the year” did not disappoint. The gala was an evening filled with joie de vivre and globe trekking fun for all attendees.
